Here we go then.... most of you on here should know the car (I've put enough pics on here in the last 18 months).
Very clean mk1 GTE. Fully rebuilt engine and gearbox (with pics). The engine and box came out of Ed's car (mk1cowboy) and had a RR printout of 137.5 BHP reputed as having an irmscher st2 head fitted but I cannot verify this but the head has since been matched to the ports and the four branch has been fitted so should be somewhere in the region of 140+ (it doesn't feel much slower than an xe'd one(ask Ed)). irmscher headlight conversion, irmscher rear spoiler and irmscher tailgate panel, irmscher steering wheel, irmscher wheels and decals. Cav 16 valve front brakes fitted, Original interior in immaculate condition with digi dash(original available) original toolkit, stainless oval exhaust box, spax adjustable (psx?) kit fitted, lowered 2-3 inches, with many many bills and invoices with history going all the way back to the original bill of sale. Many spares available, body panels, door cards(undrilled), engine, box, vernier power pulley, original hot cross bun wheels and steering wheel, kadett d console (unfitted), , brand new original tailbox available(unfitted).
Failed the mot about 3 months ago on welding being required on the both floor pans and the rear corner (nearside (small repair required)) also rubber cv boot required. Both front floorpans are included in the sale as well as the rear corner repair panel I just haven't had time to fit them as I am now working away and I have just lost interest as I dont get the time to drive it any more. Very clean car, can be driven away but I cannot condone such illegality ( )
Many pics available of the work I have done on this car. I want £2000 as it is because this car will fetch £3000 EASILY when finished. The condition and extent of work required can be verified by ED on here (he's also the only other person to have driven it and he can testify to how rapid and sorted the car is).
I will be away from Wednesday this week until Thursday 2nd november but I can still be reached via PM or email at ldarkes@aol.com to arrange a viewing. If I dont get £2000 IT GOES ON FLEEBAY(but I'd rather someone on here get it so it doesn't get killed for spares etc, It's just too nice to get boy racered) _________________

Aye this one hell of a mint car gentlemen, for sake of 20 mins welding on the pans it would be perfect.
And as for the engine the only 8v I have driven quicker than this had a big fat Turbo on it, this shifts big style and will scare the pants of some valvers. The engineand box has only got 4/500 miles on it since complete rebuild.
Feel free to PM me to people if you have a question.
Hope this go's to good home ladies so get in there and buy it. Oh yeah gentleman too...... _________________ Die rust die!!!!! |

Thanks for the kind words gents. As mentioned this car is a one off due to the full monte irmscher bits fitted there are not many with the complete irmscher parts catalogue fitted to them.
Selling up but still on the sidelines lads, at least the membership dues are still leaving my account anyway. Seriously though, I want my garage back but have never felt safe that I can park her up anywhere outside my garage safe in the knowledge it will still be there when I get back so its time to get something less conspicuous like and evo1/2/3 or scooby at least they should stay safe. _________________
