Got the GTE running for the first time in four years today!! As you can prob tell im quite chuffed, at first it would start up but not rev above tickover which was strange, i rang my mate who is a technician at my local vaux dealer, he was none the wiser either ,i thought it was either something very nasty or something very silly that was wrong,it turned out to be something very, very, very very silly ,i started it up again just to check and noticed that the pipe between the intercooler and throttle body was sucked flat, strange i thought ???? Its just had a new turbo so i wondered if it was this, no it was fine, so there must be a blockage somewhere ??? Er, yes , there was a fecking great big rag stuck in the pipe from the turbo to the cooler, i remember sticking rags in the ends of the pipes to stop any shite getting inside, obviously i had not removed one, how stuuuuuuupid did i feel ???? Anyway i pulled it out and everything worked just fine , meanwhile my mate is on his way from the Vaux dealer with the Tech 1 computer to help me out, boy did he take the piss when he got here, so we plugged it in and guess what??? No fault codes at all, everything is just fine and dandy ,came in from the garage at about 9.30 pm having been out there sice 9.30 am, just celebrating with a few (a lot!! )of beer right now, i feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders , still got about a weeks work to do but it WILL be done for BILLING

Have you any bird eye pics of your bulk head (the top section were you have modded it) I can't figure out what that metal bar is and can only think that its a brace of some kind BUT i can't figure out what the little difference is (or why it would be there on the RH side)
I take it you have moved the MS and done away with heater?
Come on mate, you can't give us just one picture after all the time and effort you have put into it!! Its just not fair!!!

I think i've just figured it out, i've just remembered the last telephone convo we had!
I get it....Still can't think what the little bracket type thing is or what would be bolted to it...

Stunning, simply stunning
I like how you've modified the bulkhead and the full triangulation of the cage to meet the front suspension towers.
Am definately going Billing just to see that
