Are you all awhere of the new logbook rule valid from July 1st. Basically if you're not then the old style V5 will not be valid anymore. This means that if you have any vehicles in your possesion without the new style logbook then it cannot be taxed again. probably need to be re-registered. This also goes for any vehicles where you have never changed the details to your own name. I think that if your vehicle has been taxed since 1998 or declared SORN then they send you one automatically otherwise they will probably at some time in the future delete it from their database and presume its been scraped.
So if you have got any classic cars or motorcycles tucked away BEWARE.... _________________

The new one is the V5C. Both my cars have had them for over a year now, luckily I moved house so they just sent me the new type when I changed address. _________________ Ben
