Blah blah...so most of you have read my threads on this car. I've given up with it.

Main problem:
Needs either the head skimming, or valves reseating, or a new rebuilt head. I've changed the head gasket twice, second time being last night. New gaskets all round, new bolts, but ended up ranging 4 to 9 bar compression. Got a good ten litres of oil ready for it, coolant etc. Theres a guy on here & mig that can do a rebuilt coscast head for £300...
**oh and cam belt was renewed last time i did the HG, 6 weeks ago.

Fecked the front splitter...have got the peices still, so if you're handy with fibreglass could fix it!
Pretty much illegal tyres on the front wheels
Handbrake needs new cables.

Anyhow...a picture of when it looked its best!

Dave, no offence but what makes the car worth £700 when you can pick a working, legal cally up in the paper for the same money?

Hope you get it sorted either way...

It worth what people will buy it for at the end of the day, it's not a bad looking motor IMHO, I take it that it comes with the Alloys an all....

I like Calibras though, unlike Jacko who see's them as engine fodder wink

I have to go with Jacko here.

The L plater I got 2 years ago cost me 500 altogether, all running 12 months MOT 6 months Tax.

It was also used for engine fodder for Hux's van...... laughing laughing

This is the problem isn't it... When they f#@k up, it really doesn't make sense fixing it, when a new engine can be bought for £150-£200!

Its a daft world...

I like the shape and the concept.....

Thousands will follow in my footsteps when they become as rare as Mk1's

It's like saying the RS1 turbo was a "flight of ford fancy" when they first came out.

Calibra's are a proper modern day classic.

Infact I'll consider anything you have to offer.
