Mk1 astra EXP-S very rare model with the benefit of being a 3 door, non sunroof model
This was/is my project car and is currently stripped out on the inside with all sound proofing removed for inspection of metal The floor pans are mint with no real issues but does look a little grubby in the photos. The only bits of the interior i've got left is the dash, everything else is gone im afraid as it had been sat for a while and the mold had taken over.
Shell is in very good condition but does require attention to the inner scuttle panel and rear valance. I would also advise sticking on some new arches and sills to make proper mint but that all depends on you i suppose.
-Mint modded tailgate de-locked barrel (with popper) and filled in handle
-Two brand new wings already painted red.
-Doors are fine with no rot.
-2 new rear arches
-Rear valance
£400
More photos are on my photobucket account if you wish to have a look. _________________ Nurburgring - Not for girls

Like an idiot i've just been looking through the pictures, i don't want to sell it now, im a bit attached to it, even if i've only ever driven it about 10 miles.
I see what happens on the auction, and i'll pull it if she doesn't get good money.
Somebody slap me ffs! _________________ Nurburgring - Not for girls |

Consider yourself slapped Jacko.
Don't lose the bug m8, I just started cleaning the floor to prep mine for welding and all of a sudden I wanna keep it. Got the urge again. I saw pics of your old gte recently and I would miss that like furk if it were mine, I'd be detaermined to do another, I suppose Lee must have felt the same to get shot of the red turbo to get his blue one back. Dont wanna end up doing the same. _________________

I know what you mean dude, i've not seen the car in so long that i forget about it, then think of the money thats sat there, and the money its costing me to store it and i feel like selling it. Its only when i look at the photos that i get all attached again. Out of sight out of mind i suppose.
I still have a picture of my gray mk1 as my desktop image, miss it like crazy and still kick myself for selling it but couldn't do anything about it at the time as i was poor and out of work.
This one, if i were to complete it would be 100% better, i know that, but its time, money and effort. And sometimes i just think i should be sensible and stop with all this playing with old cars business...
If i sold this, then i could get the scone finished, would i be happy at that though, who knows?!?
Good luck with getting yours back on the road again, you shouldn’t sell yours, simply cuz its done, you can enjoy it and you’ve spent so much time, effort and money on it. Keep the faith dude! _________________ Nurburgring - Not for girls |

Thanks M8. Faith kept.
If the grey one is anything to go by tho the scone should be nice and you dont see any around anymore. Just forget about the astra and then sort it out when the scone is done. Result _________________

This is a fantastic base for a stunning project, minimal welding, absolutely rare as rocking horse poo.
Those pics are absolutely warts an all, it would take a solid day to get it all patched back up to standard which I can arrange to have done at this end for any prospective buyer for much cheapness.
Can't believe no-one has seen the potential of it......If I hadn't have bought that bloody Ventora I'd have had this back to build another one because just looking at them pics makes me want to buy another an start on the road of Mk1 ownership.
Come on guys, transport can be arranged for the stuff too. _________________ The most hip hop mofo to ever come out of Halifax.....Jam Master Jay in d house!!! |

Trouble is if Jacko keeps it we will only end up putting it on a back burner as he knows the amount of projects I have going on up here most of which he helps put with
Whereas if he sold it then we could get it blitzed and on it's way....for a cost of course if the new owner should wish.
Personally I bang a decent bid in on it and have it away and do the work yourself over time and bring a nice project on the scene for this years shows. _________________ The most hip hop mofo to ever come out of Halifax.....Jam Master Jay in d house!!! |

It is a nice one. That under scuttle trough is nothing compared to mine either. I have about 20 square foot of new steel in my car and its still a clean example. who ever gets it will be happy. Not forgetting it hasn't got a sunroof. |

so what happened here? i was watching the bidding on the auction up to about 1/2 an hour before closing. next time i checked (after close - to see how much it fetched), it looked like all the bids had been cancelled. did you decide to hang onto it in the end? |

Dunno what jacko wants for the whole lot so I can't really speak for him but for welding the scuttle panel and the bulkhead I would charge £70.
I have done it cheap because I would like to see this taken to a really good level, the rarety of the car deserves that much.
I must admit I never agreed with Jacko ripping the car to bits, but the lad is a perfectionist and I sort of understand where he was going with it. _________________ The most hip hop mofo to ever come out of Halifax.....Jam Master Jay in d house!!! |
