Had a call today from Ebay, well said they were from Ebay, they knew all my details, saying they have a promotion on at the mo, regarding selling cars??, i soon got rid of him, anyone else had this,is this dodgy? Confused

Sounds ify to me, you haven't filled in any emails from 'eBay' lately saying that you need to login so they know you still want your account have you? eBay don't do telephones usually...

When they suspended my account Embarassed

they were a nightmare to deal with because they don't give out phone numbers, everthing had to be done via email or fax.

Might be worth changing your password, it could save you a lot of hassel in the long run and it will only take you a few mins.

I got an email from Paypal giving me my receipt for $956 for an item....

Looked really good too very professional. I hope they liked the 120,000 emails they got in return... laughing

i sold some stuff on ebay recently and a few of the people who didnt win recieved emails offering 2nd chance offers.

they emailed me to ask if it was geniune, i had to tell them it was nothing to do with me.
one poor guy had sent ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£300 for somthing he will never get.

i have reported it to ebay but i doubt if anything will get done

I got an email a while back asking for me to update my card details, Which i thought was all ok as my other card had expired, I started to fill in the form put in my card number and then after that it asked for my card pin number which i thought was dodgy.
If ebay want any details they should contact you by phone.
