hi lee

im the lad who bought that mk1 astra and mk2 gte off your brother i think nearly a year ago.

B56 KGY is gradually getting ready for painting after heaps of welding, shot blasting, loads of new panels etc.

I remember seeing your astra and your dads cav, both nice cars.

I wouldn't sell if i were you, i regret selling my old mk1 like you wouldn't believe, its the worst mistake i've ever made and im not joking. If you do sell, then get something much much better not similar like a cav or cally. Otherwise all you'll do is kick yourself, because we all know the mk1 is much more fun to drive. Why do you think cavs and callys are always being scrapped after having there engines transplanted into mk1s.

I couldn't have put that better myself wink

You won't find another car in that bracket that can match the mk1, for looks, for handling, for reliability (Hmmm?) and for sheer 'smile it's on your drive' factor wink

A cally or a Cav will need fixing a fair amount too. They are old now as well. They are rusting like most vauxhalls of that era.
A Cally/Cav will seem like a boat compared to a nippy Mk1. Why not test drive one that you might like emulate.
