Having spoken to Sir Taffy about his future life this is a real shame and only made worse by the fact that i cant help him out in storing his rare mk1 shell that i know needs no work what so ever. All the work on the engine bay ie structural strengthening was carried out by myself Ed and none other than the mk1 stig Hux who put a huge amount of time and effort into the works.

I personally am saddened by this news but understand Eds plight, its just not viable in terms of cost to drag all the parts and shell over to lreland so it has to go.

My advice to anyone considering purchasing items from is Ed spends silly money on car parts and cars and you would not be dissapointed with any of your purchases. Off the top of my head he has a truly rare shell with all the running gear, some lovely 17" alloys and absolutly spanking new GTE interior worthy of any show car for this summer (i should know it was mine in exchange foe shiney stuff !) I myself have purchased lots of shiney parts from him and its a struggle trying to make him except anywhere near its market value that coupled with the fact that he truly is a gentleman and has show no limits at going out of his way to help fellow mk1 owners in the past and inevitable future. I only hope one day we can get him back into the fold

All I want is to see her back on road again, with Lee it should be back on road before summer...please god I will see her later on in year at classic show and/or at Nurburgring breathing fire.


I goin to mope around now and perhaps whimper some more.....
