That is immaculate eek . I wouldn't change a thing about it, not a single thing.

If your going to modify a MK1 you buy one that needs work and welding doing to it. To do it to such a clean example is a damn shame.

Mitch kept his standard and hats off to him for doing it, it's a lovely car and will hold it's value very well.

I'd have to second that too. It would be a shame to do anything irreversible to that car. If you've got storage though you could store a few things like your interior and put in recaros, and wheels are easily changed.

We do have storage thankfully and it is an idea. Everything that would be done to this car would be reversable.

I just noticed that the windscreen has the GTE tint at the top. Could that be original ?

I had a metalic brown W plate 1300 gl with a top tint. Not sure if it was standard or not.
