|
|
Guys i have for sale my never ending project (lack of patience), shell started its life as a 1.3 3 door hatch. The 1.3 shell was bought to re-shell my 1.8gte that rotted away so the vin plate etc has been taken from the old shell so come with log book from original car.
at the moment its a bare shell with the engine and gearbox fitted and working. from a structural point of view the shell is solid, i mean solid, the engine bay has been seam welded although was never painted so along the seams there is surface rust.
the rear arches are in excellent condition with no rot or rust, the inner floor is in excellent condition, the sills have surface rust but no rot, the inner wings are solid, no rot whatsoever.
1. The car comes complete with a New genuine GM (still boxed) front panel and lower non gte valance.
2. Comes with a complete New genuine GM (still boxed) rear inner valance and out
3. Also have a complete New Genuine GM (still boxed) driver side quarter panel not that it needs replacing but its there if someone wants to make new.
4. Got two new inner engine bay plates where the looms goes in. both driver and passenger side.
5. Comes with two rot free doors fitted with central locking solenoids and de locked professionally welded, filled and painted. As they’ve been sitting around in storage they have scratches.
6. Set of genuine rot free wings painted in black, again with scratches.
7. I have all the interior in good condition head lights, clear indicators etc.
8. The tailgate is on the car, rot free in good condition
Engine
1. C20let with coscat head, when engine was put in had 80k on it done less than a thousand miles. Can be heard running.
2. F28 gearbox in perfect working order.
3. Complete samco type hoses fitted all round.
4. the car has a 16v rear beam, 16v callipers and discs at front
5. lowered 60mm spax suspension kit
6. gsi 15” alloys
7. stainless steel complete exhaust system welded to cav turbo downpipe.
Last time I advertised this I decided to keep it and go the 4x4 route, which once again didn’t happen, so this time its going no matter what.
It needs to be finished and would be a shame to pull the engine out and sell it in bits on ebay which I don’t have the time to do so if someone wanted it for just the engine and bit then that’s their choice, would be a shame though.
Anyway I would like £1700 for the lot or I am all ears to sensible offers, ask, worst case I will say no.
Otherwise ebay it will have to be..
Thanks guys for reading the long post.
Cars in Oldbury west midlands at the moment
Got some pics of it, don’t know how to post them up here but I’m happy to email them.
Here’s some videos of it last year running.
