Mitch you already know but sorry for the late reply really should empty my inbox sometimes,
Looks like I'm Gunna have to trailer up as I don't have a lift back is there somewhere I can safely leave my van & trailer while we set up etc?
Shaun |
Don't trailer the car in. best thing to do is park in one of the may outside car parts and then drive you car in and go back to van later much easier and less hassle. _________________

I hope evryone is all ready for this one? I have just gotta pack mine in the morning now and i am set.
There's gonna be a couple of people leaving cars in the car park. probably best to decamp them in E1, which we'll go to first after rendesvous then convoy round the buildings to get to our hall which is 12. _________________

Stand is set & the Cras are looking sweet as they can. We're in hall 12, which has the Dream rides in along with most of the vx range too. The ticket sales are already over and above last years figures so its going to be busy! _________________

First day & boy has it been a busy one & also with some element of success. Loadsa folk hoarding round the cars, each one getting its own attention in its own right. seen a few peeps from either here or other sites i frequent & all the cars looked spot on.
Anyone does come down please make yourself known, I will try to be about most of the day, but will nip out to get a smoke or quick run round auto jumble. If you don't see me, don't dispair, go over to either cavette club or vodc stand they'll be able to call me.. My mussis is running the vodc stand. _________________

The guy on the heritage stand spotted my t-shirt with a mk1 on and got chatting.
He let in the mk2 16v and the mk1.
Mk1 is impressive inside. More than the exterior.
He did say that they had the bolster on the drivers side re-trimmed. It was a fantastic job so I might give that guy a shout nearer the time as my drivers seat has some marks. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

I would like to say many thanks to Opel turbo & Jem for taking time out o bring their cars to this gig, otherwise it would have looked a tad embarrassing filling the space with 1 car. It was also nice to see other members also rolling in & coming over to say hi. The place was heaving and almost "pap style at time with for taking pics. Each car got their own attention & all looked mighty fine & nicely polished up.
Thank you onec again. I have the dates for next year, so pencil/tatoo this date in.
15th -17 November 2013
I will be hunting cars out for this gig....
Deadeye, there's your deadline! _________________
