Hello, All Members,
My sister has for sale a 1982 Astra L Mk1 1300 S 5 Door. The mileage is 100,000 miles. It has been SORN for 4 years. She kept the car with the hope that I would try to restore it, but I don't have the time or facilities to do it.
It has been stored outside and has had some water penetration. The floor pans will need some repair as does one of the sills.
The engine will start if supplied with an alternative supply of petrol but when reconnected to the fuel pipe it stops, so may be a fuel pump / fuel pipe problem.
The car is complete and would make a good restoration project or used for spares.
My sister was going to scrap the car but would prefer to let someone with the time and ability keep it on the road as they are now so rare.

The car will be up for sale until 14/2/17 after which we will have no alternative but to send it for scrap!

It is a 4 speed manual and is in Leigh, Lancashire WN7 2AQ.
