Thanks kingstonian but I've decided against fitting the mk2 mounts!
I really don't want to go cutting up the strut housing on what's now a classic car! I purchased a set of BMW E36 mounts over the weekend but the company now wants a registration?
Nothing's ever straight forward is it?

Yes, I posted the link. I got 3 pairs from 3 different places, all wrong. Although, the compbrake ones can be modded to fit without altering the ride height!

Do we know the definite part numbers for these?
I've just ran my local Vauxhall dealer and quoted
90129642 (supposedly 1.6 and 1.8 )
and
90105394
And was told they are not Vauxhall part numbers - if they were, they would show as obsolete. He said the numbers above could be production numbers which are not the same...

I have a set of genuine new top mounts stamped on the rubber is GM 90105394. I'm sure I posted a picture on here at the time I found them.
