If your using your car on the road competition mounts may well annoy the he'll out of you.
You could always sicko flex seal the standard mounts, will take out some of the slack of the standard ones but not to harsh for road use. _________________

you can get it from places like b&q or motorfactors, it comes in skeleton gun tubes like bath silicone etc.
you want high moldus stuff such as tiger seal or sikkoflex as it will set almost like rubber.
Take your mount off, put some tape over one side of it, fill it up with the goo, and leave to set for at least a couple of days, as it will take a while to set in the middle.
should leave you with a nice firm but not uncomfortable engine mount _________________

Pack the rubber with bits of exhaust mount rubber, then cover with sikaflex. Solid bushes are far too harsh for road use. _________________ throw away the chicken sh$t gun, you don't just want to pull the trigger, you want to put the knife in me. |

I have competition mounts on mine!! Nova mounts are what I'm using. There exactly the same. There not annoying in any way at all. There actually a pleasure as when you put your foot on the throttle there no delay in transmitting power to the wheel as there's no flex in the mounts. Well recommended modification. _________________ -----------------------------------------------------A763 RPX Restoration started...23/07/08 With a few alterations on the way! |

mine are sikkoflexed originals and were quite happy with close to 300 ponies running through them.
watching on the dyno the engine barely moved under load. _________________
