My new project car ...
Its a 1982 Kadett D 3 door 1.2S and it has low Kms ! It is ALL original , except the clock. It is German made ,not Greek made
Here are some pictures !

Now i have it in my mechanics place so to have it running , i will do all the paper work in July...
I am very happy and when you share the happiness, it gets multiplied ! ! ! _________________ Greetings from Greece . . . |

Apparently the kadett J was just an entry level model like our E which was below L. _________________ There's no such thing as a stupid question... Just stupid people! |

Yeap it is the entry level Kadett D !
As a 1982 model , the air blower has 2 speeds, the rear wiper is on the dash and it has 4 speed gearbox.
1.2S engine that i might keep it ...Even though there is a complete X20XEV vectra a waiting ( Tragos have it from Salonica ! )
Now i have to make it drivable, clean it and make a list of all spares i need.
After i sort all paperwork, i will have historic plates, and a FIVA certification.
The thing i like more in this car is ... the STEREO ! ! !
This time, the Kadett will not be my everyday car so i can make all restoration without time pressure.
I am really happy i have a new project !
Give me hope or advice boys, cause thing in Greece is not ideal for spending money and time on cars... _________________ Greetings from Greece . . . |

The J ( Junior ) is the entry level Kadett D . It has no lighter, no light on the glovebox , and other nos ....
This one is a 100 SOLID shell , Only surface rust . No holes no penetration even in difficult places like arches etc .
I will keep the engine gearbox original and upgrade the suspension with parts from the 80s era . No modern bits !
I very much like the radio , i hope it would be a stereo radio , not a mono ...
Now i will clean it , and have it running to make it drivable.
In july when i have all the papers and the car in my property i will start working on it ! Then I will make a list with parts i need !
Any Ideas ? any thoughts on how this car could be ? _________________ Greetings from Greece . . . |

Till 19th of june i have to do a lot of study so sit for my exams !
But , i found some time and have make some progress on the car.
It is running, the brakes are ok and it is drivable. It should be fine to pass the local MOT so to have it at my name .The radio ( original mono Le Mans )is making a hass but there is no musik. I have make a complete list with all parts i need and try to find them.
For the moment the engine 12S stays but i should find an Electronic ignition. _________________ Greetings from Greece . . . |
