I don't know if this is any use, but this is what they are supposed to look like. Bear in mind the area where the outer sill is spotwelded to the inner sill is still connected in this pic.
If you want this bit or need measurements to make your own, let me know.

Get a photobucket account and copy the IMG tag into your posts sorted _________________

Give your a car a nickname -usually based on the number plate. In the general Astra chat section, start a new thread called "{your nickname}'s Restoration Thread."
Ask questions in there, check Out my thread and Ste Whelens thread to see what we've done in that area in pic 2.
If I'm not mistaken (Ste Whelen will know more) that bit you need to get back is at the front of the rear chassis leg. Theres pics in my thread of the area. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."
