i will stick a few more up a bit later
the engine is out and split from the box and clutch removed its now hanging off the crane ready to be fitted to the engine stand.
i keep looking at the bulk head to see if i can find a place to run the looms through as im planing a relatively wire free bay and if i can bring the looms out somewhere behind the engine i think it may be achievable. _________________ orp picture diary

You could go where the gear selector pops out up under the centre console? _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

Looks like the same bloke fitted mine!
@windowlicker: I will also have a front GTE valance with the slits for sale at some point. It's in really good nick. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

cheers for the offer i will keep it in mind as im not sure whether to buy a complete new front decisions decisions
ive updated with a few more pics and am now trying to work out if there are any repair panels available for the lower corner of the inner arch and up around the bulk head area?
where does this bit go i cant get my head around it?
also can you get a whole floor pan that runs from the bulk head under the cross member to the rear seat or if not can you get just the rear floor pan i i dont recall seeing any when ive been searching for panels? _________________ orp picture diary

Rust behind the cross member near the outside will probably be the tab underneath that holds the fuel/brake line.
Nearside inner wing looks shot!
That area on the offside by the drivers foot comes with the inner wing panel I think. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

i think the best way to approach it is with a cutting disc and expose all that corner but first i am going to make a rollover jig.
what does the inner wing panel look like as that pic on my last post is suposed to be inner wing lower section but i keep looking at it then looking at my pics over and over again but i just cant see it. _________________ orp picture diary

No I can't either.
I have see the panel that goes behind the ECU but I can't place where that one goes. Plus I had an inner wing repair panel which was supposed to be for between the strut top and the bulkhead. It was as useful as me taking a dump in the same area and smoothing it out with my fingers.
A new inner wing panel goes from the door rubber at he front of the door right through to the headlights.
I still haven't recovered from Christmas money wise yet otherwise I'd have them and could take pics. _________________ "A fine example of how not to build a car..."

whilst im waiting to source some steel to make a rollover jig i started to strip back some paint and expose the rust then i thought i would be better off stripping the whole engine bay back to bare metal mainly because some of the paint was flaking and i dont was to risk the new paint looking crap because what is left underneath.
ive added a few more pics but theres not a lot of progress due to trying to sort out some space by clearing out most of whats been removed. _________________ orp picture diary
