Is this another one of those twats that's just really tight or am I being thick?

If I have to knacker it to get it off, can they be replaced!?

i think the bolts are still half hanging out of orps wishbones!
they are just plain and Simply a twat i had two spanners locked together gave it the big un and it seemed to move until i let go and the spanners flew off nearly taking my head with em! it turned they were seized in the bush a lot of cursing is the key to removal laughing

As long as you can get the nut off you should be able to wiggle/wobble/smash f&ck out of the bottom arm to get it off with the bolt still in the bush, then you can get it in a vice and attack it properly with big hammer / angle grinder / drill to get the rest out, yes they can be a right barsteward !!!

I didn't really look last night but is the bit of the lower arm near the rear just a pin in a bush or is there another nut and bolt?

I remember you mentioning it now - you got the dimensions of the bolt or a link?

I assumes the Mk2 & Mk3 ones are probably the same?

I broke my torque wrench trying to undo it tonight.

I guess it's grinder time. I've just tidied the unit up tonight as I thought I'd pretty much finished with the grinder! laughing

Got two boxes of astra dust laughing

I guess I'll also have to grind through the bush.

I don't think I can get to it. Certainly can't get a socket on it, only a spanner.

i used a spanner on the tight side and an extendable wheel nut wrench on the other untill it cracked lose.
i dont supose you know any plumbers as the map gas they use is great for undoing rusty bolts
